E’Sharp Beatz, born Frederick Tsekumah, is a distinguished Ghanaian music producer whose journey into the world of music began at the tender age of seven. His musical prowess first manifested in the church, where he honed his skills on the drums. Following his completion of Junior Secondary School, he transitioned to the keyboard, quickly becoming a vital member of his church’s music team. His insatiable curiosity led him to master the bass guitar, a role he fulfilled as a professional musician across various churches.
In pursuit of his passion, E’Sharp established a music school dedicated to teaching a diverse array of musical instruments and vocal techniques. His career trajectory took a significant turn as he began collaborating with recording studios as a co-producer, contributing to numerous undisclosed projects due to binding agreements. By 2018, E’Sharp transitioned into professional music production, a decision that built upon years of experience playing in live bands, including notable groups such as Groove Empire Band and Colors Colors, a renowned stage play ensemble in Ghana.
His production capabilities have propelled him to work with a plethora of high-profile artists, including Pat Thomas, for whom he produced, mixed, and mastered an album. E’Sharp has collaborated with various record labels, including Sound Origin Records, where he served as a production engineer for several years. Currently signed to IDA Records, he holds the roles of producer, manager, and engineer, dedicated to honing his craft and delivering high-quality music as outlined in his ongoing agreements.
Recognized for his versatility, E’Sharp has the unique ability to produce a wide spectrum of musical genres, earning the accolade of Producer of the Year at the Ghana Creative Arts Awards in 2021. His fervent passion for music is palpable—he lives and breathes it, making him an influential figure in the Ghanaian music scene.
